Gavin Arthur was the grandson of the US President Chester A. Arthur, a practicing astrologer and a sexologist. In 1965 he published his book The Circle of Sex where he described sexuality as fluid and that "there are probably as many sexual types as there are people". Although not a fully articulated astrological system, this book was heavily influenced by Astrology. This lecture examines this lost chapter in the history of Queer astrology.
