Even before you delve into the natal chart, three key factors in the Pañchāṅga (five key factors of time from the Hindu almanac) behave as real firefighters and help overcome various afflictions such as dagdha rasi, ie, burnt signs. We go into depth of what these factors are and how the planets ruling holds the key to our nourishment, and behave as the Saptamātṛkā, the seven mother goddesses. These highly unique techniques are from the Siddhar tradition of Southern India.

Sade Sati is when Saturn transits the 12th, 1st, and 2nd houses from the Moon. It is a very complex time. Ashtama Shani, Saturn's transit to the 8th house, can cause sudden transformation and health issues. Kantaka Shani, Saturn’s transit to the 4th house, influences home and career.

The planet Venus is magnificent to behold, and its singular cycle consists of the synodic 8-year (and 4-year) periods, Sun-Venus conjunctions (combustion or cazimi), and heliacal rising/setting of the morning/evening star. Ronnie will share examples from her book on Venus, to show how these phenomena can forecast personal and mundane events with amazing precision. We will also preview the upcoming Venus retrograde from 10/3-11/13. This lecture applies to all zodiacs.
