This lecture explores the philosophical foundations of theurgy, examining its approach to the nature of reality, the problem of evil, and the role of divine presence. We will consider how theurgy reconciles human suffering with a sacred cosmos and how nondualism shapes one’s relationship with the gods. Through Neoplatonic and Hermetic perspectives, we will uncover the transformative power of theurgy in bridging the human and the divine.
