Known as the ‘subterranean place’, the 4th House takes us deep: midnight’s domain, a rich underground depository. Caves were the site of many rites and mythic figures in the Greco-Roman world – Pan, Mnemosyne, Hades, Chiron – relating to mysteries, death, initiation, ancestors, memory. We’ll explore these stories to understand the psychogeography of this sacred space, and its relation to the neighboring houses of Goddess and Good Fortune.
