Hellenistic Astrology created the Zodiacal age - the format of all Western Astrology, while using the Horizon as the primary focus of earlier Astrology faded. Originated by AH Blackwell, the Polar Azimuthal is a Horizon-based device illustrating the entire Celestial and Terrestrial Sphere. It mimics an Armillary Sphere from Primary Directions to Parans and integrates the Earth and sky with new ways of looking astrology. This work underlies Symmetrical Astrology.
