Why do more women than men engage with astrology? To answer this, we’ll look at a range of explanations, ranging from women’s essential nature in the form of ‘women’s intuition’ through to cultural and social reasons. We’ll also look at early women astrologers and why they’re often ignored in histories. And we’ll consider the assumption that women’s interest in astrology is dangerous—and how this ‘problem’ has been addressed in the past.
