Venus’ most apparent astronomical feature in its synodic cycle with the Sun are its alternating appearances as a morning or evening “star”. In this lecture, an astronomical description of the Venus-Sun synodic cycle and its history in astrology (Babylonian astrology and Maya astrology) will introduce a recent study showing significant correlations between Venus and human behavior as expressed in warfare and aviation disasters.
