The planet Venus has been the primary significator for love throughout the astrological tradition since ancient times. But what do we mean by ‘love’? How might we ground our understanding of Venus in perspectives of love that refuse the distortions of patriarchy? Drawing on ancient sources and the work of contemporary feminist thinkers, this presentation explores the breadth and depth of what love can mean in our lives and in our astrology.
