Of the various techniques astrologers draw upon when interpreting horoscopes, one of the most powerful involves the role played by planets on or near any of the chart's four key angles: Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven, and IC (immum coeli). In some cases, these can even prove to be the most influential factors in a chart.
