Mark Urban-Lurain, Ph.D., is an Emeritus Associate Professor at Michigan State University, where he used machine learning to analyze student writing in introductory STEM courses. He published the first statistical astrological research using multivariate statistics in 1982 and taught research methods, statistics and the history of skepticism at Kepler College from 2001-2011. He is a member of NCGR, ISAR and is Secretary for the Society for Scientific Exploration.
